Quinta Da Marinha

A mostly flat course, Quinta da Marinha enjoys great views of the Atlantic and the surrounding countryside. The course is set within the private Quinta da Marinha estate with pine woods and the Sintra mountains in the background. Water hazards and sand bunkers abound and the course unusually features five par 5s and six par 3s.

 

The 10th requires some careful thought with an island green, but you will enjoy the view of the sea when you reach the green at the 13th.  The most spectacular hole is the Par 4 13th, sloping down towards the sea. Once on the green, the golfer has the Atlantic Ocean as a backdrop. The Par 3 14th requires a precise shot for the ball to cross a cliff and reach a wide but not very deep green. And watch out for hole number 10 which has a green entirely surrounded by water!
